Chione performs works by Valerie Coleman, Paquito D’Rivera, Kenji Bunch and Gary Powell Nash. This energetic classic and newer repertoire explores varied colors, themes and textures, from D’Rivera’s sultry “Aires Tropicales” to “Nash’s” compelling “Stop for Equity,” a brand-new work written for Chione.

Chione is a Twin Cities-based woodwind quintet comprised of innovative and cross-disciplinary women.
